Gold Award for Sustainability Performance
As a privately owned company with family values, Salom has always realised the importance of Sustainability, long recognising that operational performance is positively impacted by the wellbeing of its people. This fits well with Philips values.
Philips strives to make the world healthier and more sustainable through meaningful innovation, with a goal to improve the lives of 3 billion people a year by 2030. To support this ambitious goal, Philips have developed the ‘Supplier Sustainability Performance’ (SSP) program; Philips Supplier Sustainability. This program is beyond a standard auditing process and instead focuses on a structured collaboration and continuous improvement process measured against a wide set of sustainability parameters. This ensures that Philips and Suppliers can collectively move towards making the world healthier and more sustainable. This is a goal shared by Salom and we have been committed to supporting this initiative from its inception in 2017. Salom is consequently very pleased to receive the 2020 SSP Gold Award;
