Committed to CSR responsibilities;

Salom is socially accountable to our staff, our customers and the public. This means we have to be conscious of the impact we have and operate in ways that enhance our society and the environment, instead of contributing negatively to them.

CSR

We comply with the ‘Responsible Business Alliance’ (RBA ) Code of Conduct validated through independent audits, support our customers’ bespoke audit plans and maintain our own factory programs.

This is core to our "people orientated" business philosophy maximising value to the customer and is an area we continually invest in for the benefit of all.

 

RBA code of conduct (CoC).

The RBA CoC is a set of standards on social, environmental and ethical issues in the electronics industry supply chain. This references international standards including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ILO International Labor Standards and many more.


Customer audits.

We appreciate that whilst many customers align with the RbA COC audit, some have their own bespoke audit plans and in-house auditors for added focus In accordance with their own corporate goals. We also fully embrace this approach and support as required to enhance customer value.


Corporate programs.

We are proud to work closely with the Xiamen association for the handicapped to eliminate employment discrimination and maximise our contribution to society.

We also have extensive programs established to reward Staff for ideas aligned to our Corporate goals that deliver measurable improvements once implemented.
