How long has Salom been in Operation?

Salom is a privately owned company that has been established for over 45 years and have supplied in excess of 2 billion power products to many Fortune 100 companies. You can find Salom product in almost every household and office across the world, powering numerous home appliance, healthcare and communications devices.

What is Saloms product focus?

The company has design, approval and mass production expertise in power products up to 5 KW for a range of industry standards including consumer, automotive, telecoms, medical and industrial. The highest production volumes are typically 100W output devices however many of our design and manufacturing skills are transferable, so if you have a product concept to build in volume, come and talk to us!

Do Salom manufacture Components?

We are highly ‘vertically integrated’ in that we manufacture a great many of our own components. This includes key cost drivers such as cable, metal stamping, injection molding and transformers. This also means we have greater control over our component supply chain.

Are Salom committed to social, environmental and ethical practices in their global supply chains?

Absolutely. We follow the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) for minerals sourcing and are Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) certified, having regular RBA audits conducted by customers and 3rd party agencies.

Is Sustainability a core focus area for Salom?

Do we have global offices and factories?

As a family-owned business we believe in ‘Glocalization’, local relationships offered globally are core to our success. Our company has established sales offices in Europe, United States, Japan, Malaysia and China and has production in China, Brazil, Indonesia and India with more locations planned. Our teams are able to give prompt and accurate feedback to support a rapid business engagement.

What are the Salom factory certifications?

Our factories generally have ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO13485 certification. If the cerfication your products require is not in the list please talk to us.

Does Salom conduct Research to support product development?

Innovation is in our blood. Our team researches the latest materials, components, architectures and tools with our many technology partners to ensure we can quickly deliver cutting edge products.

Are our products Safety Certfifed?

Our products are sold globally and have to meet various international certifications. We can certify to all global standards including CE (European Union), CULUS (North America), 3C (China), BSMI (Taiwan), PSE (Japan), KC (Korea), depending on our customers requirements.

Do Salom offer global product distribution?

Yes. As part of our product licensing service, we are able to offer a license fee to distribute existing products (manufactured by Salom or elsewhere) through our global distribution channels. This includes our established e-tail channels (Amazon global market places, eBay) alongside various retail outlets through our established network of channel partners.
