Salom obtains Motorola trademark license

As a key OEM supplier and partner to Motorola for over 30 years, Salom has delivered more than 500 million Motorola branded power supplies to every corner of the globe.

On June 13, 2016 Salom officially embarked on a 3 year contract with Motorola Trademark Holdings, LLC as an official trademark licensee worldwide.In practice,this licensee agreement will enable Salom to self-develop, manufacture and distribute consumer-grade external power supplies and associated input/output cables (hereafter Motorola product). From the perspective of worldwide distribution channel management, Salom will manage the existing retail sales channels that have been distributing and/or reselling Motorola products while further developing other effective channels through distributor recruitment. Salom also plans to introduce some of its self-developed product to enhance and grow the Motorola product line.Through marketing, promotion, and portfolio expansion, the ultimate goal is to maximize the Motorola brand profit and value on a global basis.

Although in past the demand of Motorola cellphone products seems to be sluggish due to higher and higher level of intensive competition in worldwide mobile industry, what's not arguable is that under the leadership of Lenovo management the recent demand of Motorola cellphone has continue showing good positive growth as many of Motorola high power mobile products have been launched to the world market.  Along with Salom's capability in latest cutting edge know-how, experience in global channel sales with full support from Motorola Holding LLC in pursuing this contract, there is no doubt after 30+ years of OEM partnership this new venture will not only create a lot of lucrative business opportunities but would also bring the business relationship of Salom and Motorola (Lenovo) to an even closer position.
