Salom is awarded RBA 'Factory of Choice'​ certification

The Responsible Business Appliance (RBA) has been developing tools and programs to measure workplace social and ethical responsibility for over 10 years. This aligns fully with Salom values and is a key part of Salom corporate investment plans.

Responsible Business Alliance certification is issued after the factory passes the RBA Validated Audit Process (VAP), which is the leading standard for onsite compliance verification and effective, shareable audits.  The ‘Factory of Choice’ program is then for factories that continue to push BEYOND the VAP and exceed expectations by covering ALL lines of business including supply chains that can be shared with customers. This is much harder to achieve and places Salom in a much smaller group of factories that have the very highest CSR commitment.

In August 2022, Salom achieved RBA 'Factory of Choice' certification. This is a testament to the focus and effort Salom has in the field of sustainable development. However, sustainability is a journey so we will continuously improve to further enhance brand value and create more sustainable value for our customers, employees, the environment and society.
